PUBG Mobile is Back With A New Name Called Battlegrounds Mobile. Check Out The Details



South Korean Video Game Developer Krafton announced today that Battlegrounds Mobile India

The Indian version of PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds(PUBG) Mobile, will be available on the Google Play Store from May 18 for pre-registration. Krafton also mentioned that Indian players who pre-register would receive exclusive items and unique rewards, which will become accessible to them once the game gets launched in India. Currently, pre-registrations are only available for Android users. Krafton has not released any news regarding the pre-registration for Apple iPhone users.

The Indian Government banned PUBG Mobile together with more than 100 other Chinese apps, most made by Tencent and Netease. The Indian government stated that the apps were”stealing and surreptitiously transmitting user data in an unauthorized manner to servers which have locations outside India”. India had held PUBG Mobile’s highest market share accounting for 175 million downloads and 24% of the global players of the game.

Krafton had to make changes to the Battlegrounds Mobile India game to avoid a potential ban again in India. These changes include reducing violence and new gameplay restrictions to appease the majority of the people critical of the game. There will be no appearance of blood. Instead, you will only see the green-hit effect when you shoot or hit enemies.

Another change is the gameplay limit. Players under the age of 18 will not be able to play the game for more than 3 hours, and that is after the players get permission from their parents. Yes, players under the age of 18 will not be allowed to play the game without receiving authorization from their parents first. Also, there will a cap limit of Rs 7000 on in-app purchases for minors.
